Epicom provides fully-integrated RF front-end modules for various types of wireless RF applications. In addition to having industry-leading RF front-end performance, Epicom modules replace mass majority of RF components in typical designs. These modules meet all performance requirements and reduce overall BOM cost for 802.11 products and work with currently-available transceiver chips. The FM2422 is a fully integrated low-current RF FEM designed for 2.4 GHz 802.11b/g WLAN applications where low operating current is desired for long battery life and higher reliability such as handheld PDAs and smart phones. The FM2423 provides higher power up to +22 dBM with the best overall efficiency. Biasing and matching circuitry are all integrated in a low cost standard QFN package, 4mm by 4mm by 0.8mm, to minimize the external components required. For dual-band applications, the FM7704 provides low current operation at 2.4 and 5 GHz while the FM7705 provides higher power for dual-band applications. These fully-integrated modules are supplied in a miniature 5mm by 5mm by 0.8mm QFN package. Epicoms RF FEMs are designed to be compatible with most available 802.11a/b/g chipsets from leading wireless chip companies. The modules are easily adoptable by OEMs, ODMs, and CMs and can eliminate major yield loss by providing pre-screened and guaranteed performance levels.
